From caisson to finish surface
As a general contractor, KG Mullen can deliver the whole house. As a concrete contractor, it handles the work from below-grade structure and waterproofing through to the exposed finish surface.
General contracting
KG Mullen is a licensed Class B general building contractor as well as a C-8 concrete contractor. We build complete custom homes as the general contractor, with the concrete structure and architectural finishes poured by our own crews.
Architectural concrete
Board-formed, HDO-smooth and custom-color cast-in-place walls, columns and floors, finished to be left exposed inside and out.
Structural concrete
Reinforced slabs, decks, walls and columns for multi-story commercial shells, delivered on accelerated and night-work schedules.
Hillside & foundations
Caissons, cantilevered structural decks and suspended pools on steep hillside lots.
Basements & waterproofing
Walk-in, below-grade living space with integrated drainage, full waterproofing systems and methane abatement.
Sculptural elements
Suspended staircases, angled seat walls, moats and living roofs: the one-off pieces that carry a design.
Flatwork & hardscape
Seeded sand, colored and stamped finishes, sidewalks and city work for retail and institutional sites.
Masonry
Natural stone masonry in full stone, not veneer, with every stone cut to fit, including stone laid in brick coursing. Entry and garden walls, planters, steps and fireplaces, along with CMU block walls.
